MARYLIN YODER

419-865-5115
Marylin was first elected a Trustee in 1967.  She has seen many changes in the past 40 years, such as: seeing a small Volunteer Fire Dept. grow into a Full-time Fire and EMS Dept., assisted in deterring annexation attempts, Hotel/Motel Tax in 1981 (which helped provide more than $2 million), and saw the 35+ acre expansion of Community Homecoming Park.  Marylin believes that talking with residents is most effective, whether at the grocery store, post office, bank, church, or local restaurants.  She has also served as Lucas County Township Association President for the past 18 years.

Marylin grew up on a farm in Metamora, Ohio. She and her husband started Yoder Machinery in the Village of Holland.  The company provided years of work experience as salesperson, janitor, office, mailroom, bookkeeper, and advertising.  Marylin and her husband Lowell reside in Springfield Township and have five children, Tom, Tim, Terry, Trudy, and Tammy, and  17 grandchildren.
